I have recently been cleaning out my room tenfold. Every little bit of worthless paper thrown away, to be forgotten. I sometimes felt like someone on hoarders. It was bad.
It was so bad that I found some old writings of mine from 7th grade- and if you're wondering how old that is it's around 2000-2001. This is before 9/11 happened mind you (I was in 8th grade when that happened). And it's an interesting look how awful my writing was. Truly just...awful.
I used real people back then in the stories- except I have no idea who two of these characters are. Joe and Gregg? I don't know them or I've since forgotten they existed. My bad. I mean, c'mon, it's been like 12 years. I don't remember this kinda stuff. Also there is no one named Alikon or Chan in my life nor was there ever. And this wasn't commentary on the principal or teachers. It was simply a crazy story I began to write in study hall after finishing my homework.
This is an unfinished story, but towards the end I can't make any sense of it. So don't expect me to finish it. Maybe when I get all the old writing on here I'll rewrite some of the favorites.
The only thing I have corrected is spelling, a few redundancies on who is talking, and format stuff. I even kept my ridiculous pen name. Enjoy.
The School Takeover

Chapter 1
“Open the door Erik, come on we'll be late.” James yelled.
The door opened and Erik was there.
“We won't be late, let's go.” Erik said. They had just made it in time and the bell had just rang.
“See you later Erik,” James said while going the other way. James made it to homeroom on time and then went to science.
“Hey Mandy.” James said.
“Hi,” Mandy responded to. Just then the announcements came on.
“All students with last names beginning with A to I please go down to the auditorium. A to I.” They went to the auditorium without their stuff and the principal was there. Once everyone was seated he began to talk.
“Now I know this school year has been tough, please quiet down- but everyone- please be quiet...everyone has worked real hard so you will be...” There was a pause, a very long pause. The principal had his head down and started shaking. “You all will...will...will die!”
He lifted his head up and his eyes were evil red. Mandy and James were close to the back so they jumped out the door real quick. The doors then slammed shut and they went as fast as they could away from there. Halfway down the hall they heard horrible screams coming from the auditorium. They then stopped dead in their tracks. They had seen a huge shadow that looked weird and heard footsteps getting closer and closer.
Chapter 2
“The Old Age”
The footsteps grew louder and louder until two friends of theirs came from around the corner. It was Jack and Sya going to the auditorium. They ran to them as quickly as they could.
“Don't go in there you two,” Mandy said.
“Why?” they both asked.
“You won't believe me, but the principal has just killed almost all of the kids with last names beginning with A and going to I,” James said.
They looked at each other then at Mandy.
“Is it true or are you just kidding?” Jack asked Mandy.
“She sighed and then said “Yes, it's all true.”
They gasped once they heard a scream saying “No, don't kill me!” in the most horrid way and then a kind of explosion.
“C'mon guys, lets get out of here.”
They were walking back when a teacher came up to them and said “Do you have a hall pass?”
Luckily Jack had one and showed it.
“May I see it?” the teacher asked. “Well, it seems you were suppose to be back in 2 minutes and it is passed that time.” The teacher ripped the pass up and turned around to throw it away and said “Since you guys don't have a pass...” Silence came and then she said “...then I guess...I guess I have to...to kill you!”
She looked up and had evil red eyes like the principal. She grabbed a metric stick and it somehow became a sword from a long time ago. She swished it back and forth until two swords instead of one it became. She was about to strike when James said “I always wanted to do this.”
Chapter 3
“Hit, kick, and kung fu fighting”
James then kicked a sword from the teacher's hand and grabbed it himself. He then started doing exactly what she had down to make two and it worked. He then gave the other to Sya and made two more for Jack and Mandy. They surrounded the teacher with her eyes flaming like fire.
She then said, “You will pay for this!” and disappeared with all of the swords gone with her.
They then realized that all of the teachers were overcome and no one was safe. Just to make sure they went back to class.
“Oh you guys are still alive, I mean you're back so soon.”
James saw a little bit of red in her eyes and then he asked her if he could use the bathroom.
She replied by saying “Yes you may, you little rascal.” saying the under her breath.
He walked to the bathroom, but about halfway there he heard the announcements come on.
“All students with last names beginning with J to Z please go to the auditorium. Thank you.”
He realized then that all of the students would die if that happened. Jack, Sya and Mandy came running down the hall.
“Did you guys hear that?” he asked. They all shook their heads yes.
“We should try to stop some of them,” Mandy said.
“That's right but we better hurry,” Jack said.
“Just one thing before we do,” James said.
“What is it?” Mandy asked.
“I still have to use the bathroom.”
Chapter 4
“The Secret of the Bathroom”
“Just hurry up,” Mandy said.
“Just wait.” James yelled from the bathroom. He was about to flush when Jack run in and said “I got a few people to believe me but the rest wouldn't even listen and some just pretended to listen.”
“Well at least you got come of them,” James said while trying to flush. “This stupid thing won't budge.”
“Let me see,” Jack said.
“No wait don't, I think I...”
“No let me.”
James then slipped making his hand come down and hit part of it. They then a heard a kind of noise that a brick would make if dragged across the floor. They turned around and saw a back moved out and a green blob sitting there.
“What the heck is that?” James asked.
“I don't know,” Jack said.
Sya then walked in and said “What are you guys doin- whoa! What's that!” Sya exclaimed so loud that Mandy could hear him.
“We don't know it just appeared once I hit this,” James said going over and pointing to it.
“Push it again,” Sya said.
He tried to push it but it didn't move. He then was able to flush it without any trouble. Jack grabbed a pencil from his pocket and started poking it. You could hear it making noises every poke. The noises kept on getting louder and louder until it stopped.
It started shaking and moving around. They were all watching it now. It started to come out. It shifted to make itself flat. It then turned red and has green eyes. It started to float in the air. It stopped suddenly and started moving toward them.
Chapter 5
“No Way Out”
The blob was moving toward them slowly. They ran toward the door. It shut and locked itself. It was getting closer. Jack grabbed a paper towel and got it wet. He then throw it at the blob and missed. It went through it and hit the wall like the thing was a hologram.
It said in a light, nice voice with a British accent “Please stop. I mean no harm.”
They all had weird looks on their faces.
“What do you want?” Jack asked.
“I want to help you since you helped me get out of that prison.” the blob replied. It had turned back from red to green and wasn't flat. It was still floating in the air though and had red eyes now.
“What prison are you talking about?” James asked.
“The prison that was in the wall. I have been there for a long time and was waiting for someone to free me like you. So now I must help you.” the blob said.
“Who or what are you?” James asked. “Are you evil or are you a hologram or what?”
“I am neither of those,” the blob said. “I am Alikon the spiritual guard of the dream world.”
“So you're kind of like that ghost from Ghost Busters?” Sya asked.
“I am no such thing. I am made up of good spirits or the spirits of the dead.” Alikon said.
“So are you lots of ghosts put together or something?” Sya asked.
“No! I am a spiritual guard.” Alikon said with a mad look.
“So you are a spiritual guard.” James said.
“Yes that is right.”
Silence broke out in the room. They all looked at each other in weird looks and then they all said at the exact same time like they were reading each other's minds.
“Huh?”
Chapter 6
“How It All Began”
“A spiritual guard is a guard who lets good spirits in and takes care of the bad spirits.” Alikon said.
“So how exactly did you get in there?” James asked.
“It's a long story but I'll try to shorten it up. It started back in the dream world when I was born,” Alikon said.
“No we don't want to know that just tell us how you got in there!” Sya said anxiously waiting.
“Alright,” Alikon replied starting over again. “It all started when I was guarding the portal to the dream world. It was my first time so I hadn't any experience. I was letting spirits in when I heard a noise. I turned around to see what it was and wasn't paying attention. I guess when I wasn't looking an evil spirit got in or more than one got in. They turned all the spirits from good to evil then since I wouldn't change they had to find a place to put me. They found portal to your world and then stored me there. They then went around and changed the teacher or in my language ookanbacks.”
They laughed at that and Alikon then continued.
“I would have turned evil if you didn't help my by pushing the button.”
“But why couldn't I flush it?” James asked.
“Well the evils or evil spirits don't have any memory so they did that to know which one it was.” Alikon said.
“Then how did you change color?” Jack asked.
“I do that by my moods. The evil started to get at me when you were poking at me so I turned,” Alikon said.
“Come on guys, what's taking so long?” Mandy said.
“Be out in a minute,” Sya said while Alikon unlocked the door.
Chapter 7
“The Survival Strategy”
They had just got out of the bathroom when the announcements came on.
“All teachers must go to the auditorium since the students are dead. All teachers, thank you.”
“Hurry, everybody into the bathroom.” Alikon said.
“But that's the boy's bathroom.” Mandy said in complaint.
“In my world there isn't a difference, now move along.” Alikon said trying to get her in. They all got in there, including three more faces. There was Gregg, a kind of strange boy. There was Joe, a strange name for a girl, and Erik- the guy from the beginning.
“Now we need to make a plan but not let them know, so I will make a barricade so that no one can hear or see us.” Alikon then said. “Everyone get in a circle and don't touch eaco ther.”
“Why shouldn't we touch each other?” Joe asked.
“If you do you will mutate or something will happen.” Alikon replied. He then started to encircle them until a box appeared he got into the box then made it solid. “What I should do is go back to the dream world, bring you guys with me but leave you at the portal.” Alikon said.
“What is this dream world you keep talking about?” Erik asked.
“It is another world like yours except it has spirits instead of people.” Alikon replied.
“Then I guess it's off to the dream world, guys.” James said.
“Yeah let's go to dead world.” Gregg said.
“Dream world.” Alikon said.
“Whatever!” Gregg said.
Chapter 8
“Tragedy in the dream world...or not?”
“Follow me and hurry,” Alikon said. They then went over toe where he was trapped and he went into push a button. Once he pushed it he came out and looked at the wall.
“What are you looking at?” Gregg asked.
“Just wait,” Alikon said.
A weird looking circle of tie-dye colors appeared.
“Lets go,” Alikon said.
“What do you mean?” Mandy asked.
“Go into the portal, go on guys jump in it.” Alikon said pushing them forward. “Don't be afraid you guys will be fine.”
Sya jumped in head first saying “Wee!” Then Jack went and then James.
“C'mon you guys go already,” Erik said.
“Why don't you go Erik?” Mandy asked.
“I have to get something” Erik said trying to cover it up.
Alikon whispered something in his ear. He then jumped in. The others followed. They all ended up in a black place with more portals. Alikon went over to one and said “You guys stay here and I'll be back.”
He then went into a portal that had weird writing on it that looked like a cloud with the Earth next to it.
“Let's go in.” Joe said.
“Alikon said not to, though.” Mandy said trying to dissuade her from going.
“Forget it, let's go!” Joe said dissuading Mandy to go.
She then grabbed Mandy's hand and jumped in. The guys didn't notice for awhile. Then they did they found out it was too late. Joe and Mandy were both evil. They attacked but missed. Alikon came floating up to them. They were somehow able to float in the air while all of the evil spirits were on the ground.
“Evil spirits sink here and good spirits float, anyone else can do both.” Alikon said.
“What are we going to do?” Jack asked.
“I'll send a ray of good or something like that to see if I can change their spirits.” Then fired a ray at them.
“It worked!” Sya said.
“It worked alright but...” Alikon said.
“But what?” Sya asked.
“...but it only worked on Mandy.” Alikon said sadly.
“Then what are we going to do?” James asked.
“I don't know.” Alikon said very saidly.
Chapter 9
“Clap Clap, Clap Clap Clap, Clap Clap Clap Clap; Let's go!”
Alikon looked like he was going to cry.
“Alikon are you alright?” James said.
“Yeah what's wrong?” Sya asked.
Alikon then burst into tears and said “Snif...sniff...if...a...good...ray.”
“Go on,” James said encouraging him.
“It means that...that...that we have to kill her!”
He then burst into tears again. Joe was attacking Mandy now. She jumped at Mandy but missed. Mandy then jumped up in the air and started floating up towards them. Alikon was still crying his eyes out.
“What happened?” Mandy asked.
“You turned evil.” Jack said.
“No, I mean what happened to Alikon?” Mandy said getting very mad at him. Jack was getting mad too. Everyone was getting mad for some reason, even Alikon got mad. They then started to sink toward the ground. They then hit the ground with a “ker boom.” Joe started running after them. They tried floating up, it didn't work.
Alikon then dropped something from his body. It was a pistol or something that was similar.
“Use it” Alikon said.
James had the gun and was aiming it at her. He was about to shoot when he said “I can't do it!”
“Give me it.” Sya said.
“No,” James said.
“Give me... “ Sya said.
“No,” James said.
The gun then suddenly went off. It sent a laser beam straight at her. She then exploded into little bits once it hit her. It was like some thing from inside of her blue up and she was blown up with it.
“Whoa,” Sya said being amazed at that kind of power.
“I'll keep this for awhile.” James said.
Just then a thing like Alikon came up.
“Everybody this is Chan,” Alikon said. Chan looked like Alikon except that his color was blue and has yellow eyes. He also had an Australian accent and spoke like an Australian.
“Well, let's go mates.” Chan said.
They all looked at each other with a grin. They then clapped their hands in melody and said
“Let's go!”
